Sponsored by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, and hosted by Beijing Student Activities Management Center, Haidian District Education Commission and Haidian District Sports Bureau, and co-organized by Tsinghua University affiliated high School, the 56th Beijing Middle School Track and Field Games opened at Fengtai Sports Center at 8 am on October 28。Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, Haidian District Education Commission and other relevant leaders attended the opening ceremony。

As the largest, most complete and highest level sports event in the middle school track and field events in our city, the annual middle school track and field meet is not only a comprehensive review and centralized display of the school sports work, but also an important measure to strengthen the school sports work and enhance students' physical fitness。
After receiving the task, the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University immediately formed a preparatory team headed by Secretary Fang Yan, and made thorough arrangements for the cultural and sports performances, competitions, etiquette, volunteers, security, medical and logistical support of the opening ceremony。After nearly half a year of careful preparation, we have brought you an exciting opening ceremony performance。

At the opening ceremony, more than 1,000 students from the affiliated High School of Tsinghua University and Fengtai School of Tsinghua University carried out the school sports characteristic activities with the theme of "Carrying on the past and opening up, inheriting the torch and creating brilliance together"。Through the dragon dance and lion dance, skipping rope, football exercise, basketball exercise and other special events, it shows the inheritance of Ma John's sportsmanship in the era of the affiliated Middle School of Tsinghua University, and the school philosophy and sportsmanship of "taking dreams as horses and living up to youth" have been fully displayed。
The games lasted for 3 days, a total of 816 student athletes from the city, including Yanshan, signed up for the competition, a total of 22 minor events。
